The estimated value of the digital media market in India is at 537 billion rupees and a report by FICCI and EY predicts that India’s digital ad spending will grow at an average annual rate of 27.42% between 2021 and 2028, and will amount to $21.8 billion in 2028. GroupM’s recently released TYNY report states that there will be a 15.5% increase in advertising expenditures in India, amounting to a total of INR 1,46,450 crore by 2023.
